art activity where someone provides supplies and teaching
for passers-by.
Artist booths:
--You get a 10' x 10' space. If you need more space for
whatever reason, please contact us at falloutminneapolis@juno.com
or 612-462-3873.
--Bring your own shade tents, chairs, and/or tables: whatever
you need to display your art. It's possible that we will
have an extra table or chair, but it's very unlikely. Do
not count on us to provide this stuff!
--Come as early as 9am on July 19 to set up. Spaces will
be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you come
early, you may be able to get a shady spot. The fest opens
to the public at noon and the art booths will stay open
until 8pm. Please clean up quickly after that. The fest
will conclude after that with a musical finale on the outdoor
stage.
--In past years, we have had a constant flow of people throughout
the whole day, with a bigger crowd from 2pm-6pm, so if you
are having friends or volunteers help you sell stuff, know
that that is the busy time, for your planning. --Registration
fee must be paid before you set up your booth on July 19.
--If you are selling something at your table, please give
the Fallout 15% of whatever is sold. Please keep records:
we go by the honor system, and a Fallout staff person will
come by to collect at the end of the day.
--We would like your phone #, address, and email address,
as well as your full name and any company names.
--We can not guarantee any electricity or power available.
--We do not have insurance to cover you in case of rain
damage to art or anything else, so please get your own insurance
coverage. We will not ask for proof of this coverage, but
we will ask you to sign a damage waiver so the Fallout won't
be held liable.
--If you have questions or would like to know more about
the Fest or the Fallout in general, please come to an info/planning
meeting on Saturday, June 23 at 11am here at the Fallout.
