![]() ------------------------------------------------------------------- Disgrace includes visual art, song, spoken word, drum-jams, multi-media, performance art, installation and voluntary interactive stations. The Stations of the Cross are traditionally observed in Catholic and Lutheran churches. The traditional Stations of the Cross are 14 snap- shots from when Christ was condemned to when he died. Our heart is to take a historic tradition with brand new creativity and uniqueness. The goal of the service is to produce a new expression unique to the individuals that gather to participate and observe. Artists and Performers Wanted: (details) For each station we desire to have a - Gallery Visual (visual art, installations, multi-media) and - Performance Vignette (song, spoken word, drum-jams, multi-media, performance art, dance, interactive stations) Note, some multi-media pieces will serve as both Gallery Visuals and Performance Vignettes. In the past we have had video projects that have been one of the vignettes. For the Gallery Visual Piece we have either taken stills form the video or looped the video on a monitor. Disgrace is both an art show and performance. On Good Friday there will be an Art Opening that will include Gallery Visuals in the Gallery and a overall performance at 7:30pm that will include each stations' 3 to 4 minute Performance Vignettes. If you are interested, please contact us. (612) 462-3873 or falloutminneapolis@juno.com. We are assigning a visual piece and performance piece to each station. In theory we need about 30 artists and performers (15 visuals and 15 performance vignettes). We will try to keep an updated log of the current stations that have been assigned for both categories. In general it will be first come first serve. Volunteers Needed: (612) 462-3873 falloutminneapolis@juno.com
