Details of where the money is went:
Light Ministries has had a presence in Haiti since 1982. It
has established schools, clinics, job training, and clean water
for thousands over the years. It is located in Carrefour, just
outside of downtown Port-au-Prince. The earth quake on Jan 12th
killed 200,000 in their immeadiate area. They are currently
serving as a crisis command center in collaboration with several
NGO's, the Red Cross and the US Marine Corp. They also have
been able to receive 100's of volunteer workers and medical
staff to help with the current needs. The have established a
distribution network that is able to feed over 20,000 and serve
medical needs of 500 every day.
Jeff Orluck, a staff member of the Source BoilerRoom
has had a relationship with Light Ministries for years and has
been there to volunteer several times in recent years. He visited
in Feburary for a week to see first hand what is happening and
what the needs are.
All our proceeds will be given to Light Ministries, and 100%
of the donations will go directly toward food & medical aide.
