The Faith and Art Forum was a bi-monthly group that met to discuss topics relevant to artists of faith including icons, ethics and morality, worship and social responsibility. In spring 2005, the Forum prepared a gallery show highlighting the relationship between an artist's work and his or her beliefs. It is our goal to excite artists of faith and focus their creative energy. We also hope that through our discussions we can make progress evaluating and understanding the cutting edge trends in art and worship, and to help non-artists develop a love and understanding of the world of visual art. Although our concern is primarily visual art, our discussions also embrace theatre, music and film. It is our goal to make something that is powerful and relevant. The last meetings were on July 7th and 14th, 2005, and we went to the Walker and the MIA.
