How to get involved at The Fallout:
There are so many ways to get involved here! The Fallout is almost entirely volunteer-run. The many different people involved here are essential to the survival of this place. The best way to get involved here is to show up to any event, meal, or discussion and talk to people who already volunteer here. Get to know us, ask us how you can help, tell us what you'd like to do. This place can only survive with your creative ideas, hard work, and volunteer help.
Come to an informational meeting on Saturdays at 4pm - the next one is Saturday, March 12. We'll have them every 2nd Saturday of the month. If you can't come, but would still like to get more involved, email mandy@sourcemn.org. Or, come to a work day on a Saturday at the Fallout: Feb 26, March 26, and April 9 from 2-5pm.
Areas where we currently need help: hosting (including Saturday night events), cooking, sound tech, creating art during events, cleaning, construction, booking, promoting, outreach teams, homeless youth, after school program, juvenile detention center, graphic design (including posters, flyers, and more), administration, curating art shows, performance and work shop planning, Faith and Art Forum, planning events, web site and computer support, public relations, and really, just about anything you can think of.
