26, Thanksgiving feastival We hosted a Thanksgiving
Feastival at The Fallout. We gathered together to eat delicious
meat-eater and vegan friendly options. yum!
Hurricane
Relief Benefit show: a silent auction from Nov 5- Dec
3. Proceeds will go to hurricane relief work. featuring
the work of Sam Hoolihan, Jesse Sanders-Greenberg, Prokiev,
Andy Morien, Amanda Bunyard, Deanna Steege, Nathan Enkel,
Eric Mattheis, Robert Andert, and Jaak.
Faith
and Art Forum. An intense and focused time to address
the controversies, misconceptions, difficulties and responsibilities
of Christians in the visual arts. Open to artists, art historians,
art lovers, and anyone else. Currently on hiatus until further
notice. Email

Open
Mic Nights:
Thoroughout the year we hosted multiple open mic nights.
Currently no open mic nights are scheduled.
Make
a Difference: A chance to do something and be
part of a community. Once a month we go to help a shelter
or the poor for a couple of hours. Next date: tba.

Hurricane Relief Benefit Show! All proceeds go towards a
relief trip to the Gulf Coast in January 2006. THANK YOU
to all the amazing bands that played- Fitzgerald, La Poema,
The Siftrocks, The Art of Airports, and Prokiev. Thank you
also to the artists that donated artwork for the silent
auction, which is up until December 3. Come bid while they're

November 4: Anathallo's Minneapolis debut! Marching
band, boy's choir gone all awry. An amazing show with tons
of evergy. It was also Wes Burdine's final show in Minneapolis
with his Librarians. With Saxon Shore and Braille. an excellent
night all around.

July 23: Fallout
Art Fest! Over 30 local and national
musicians, including the Psalters and the Restoration Project,
were featured on our indoor and outdoor stages.
Also featured gallery, painters, murals, sculptors, dance,
skateboarding exhibitions and skate ramp, screenprinting,
mosaics, food, jugglers, drum jams, poetry slam featuring
champion from Fallout '05 summer event, children's games
and activities, and much more. Indoor Stage will have a
mellow, coffee house setting. Outdoor Stage will feature
multi-cultural performers. Event ran from noon-10pm and
was free of charge.
Saturday,
July 16: The
Psalters, Your Loving Tiger, and
the Blackthorns.
The Psalters are a nomadic tribe of psalm-writers
whose music combines, folk, punk, gypsy, and more styles.
Your Loving Tiger is a new local band that sings sweet love
songs that are kind of garage-rock-y and kind of shoegazery,
and maybe kind of acid-rocky. The Blackthorns play long
dark gothic orchestral songs.
Art
and Faith Forum
Discussion group on the relationship between faith and art.
Fall 2005: the group is on hiatus until future leadership

June 10: Eleventh Annual Gloria Dei Gathering. The original
interactive art event continues its tradition. Features
music and interactive art, and open mic. Bands: Ignite the
Will (hardcore/metal from Iowa), Death to Your King (also
hardcore/metal from Iowa), and Amesbury.

Mosaic Block Party. The Drum and Easel Public Art Troupe
will be there!

June 2 (7-10pm): Minneapolis Mosaic Showcase at the
Fallout. Minneapolis Mosaic will be doing a tour of art
spots in South Minneapolis, and the Fallout will be part
of that. It will feature a community mural, Drum and Easel
public art piece and an interactive word Collage (and even
more!)
Make
a Difference Days
An opportunity to do some real work for the poor and the
community. Once a month (Usually Sat 2-5 pm) we go to volunteer
at a shelter. Dress to work. This event is on hiatus until
future notice. Please check the

Greene, the Psalters,
The
Restoration Project, and Break Sea Caravel. doors at
5:30pm, show at 6m. $6 suggested donation please. Madison
Greene is from Michigan and plays aggressive acoustic afro-celtic
folk-rock with authentic drums and beats from Africa. The
Psalters are a nomadic tribe of psalm-writers whose music
is a mix of styles: gypsy, african, southern hymns, mid-eastern,
all with the aggressiveness of punk rock. Break Sea Caravel
is a local band who plays pirate music with all kinds of
instruments.
Friday, February 4: New Art by Jen Theisen and Jamie
Winter Dawson. Opening reception will be on Friday, February
4 from 7-10pm. Refreshments will be provided at the opening,
and live music will include jazz by Tritone, Edsell Thomas
(techno, progressive house, hip-hop), and acoustic guitar
by members of The Restoration Project. More info about the
artists is on the gallery page. The show will be in the
gallery until February 19.
