Sarah Mattheis. we raised a bunch of money for their upcoming

Lake Baikal, The Softrocks, Spiritual Mansions, Every Bell
and Whistle, and Allen & LIndsay Keating-Moore and Eric
& Sarah Mattheis.

July 22: 4th Annual Fallout Art Fest! jugglers on ladders,
hip hop dance team, psalters and the illalogical spoon,
shape note singing, salsa music, flamenco dancers, good
ole rock'n'roll, tightrope walking lessons, african drum
lessons, bagpipe history lectures, medieval celtic hippie
music called OdenSoterias, puppet theatre, dance improv,
alt.country, funk, a zombie band, free food for 1000 people,
film fest the night before with 10 shorts from local filmmakers,
homeless people sleeping on the couches or making art in
the warehouse, old timey bands with accordians, skate ramp,
community mural, make your own mosaic, screenprint your
own shirt, 10 different artist booths, south african choir,
our demon-possessed friend screaming at the volunteers,
lots of our somali neighbors showing their kids how to throw
pots on the pottery wheel, artists creating art on the street,and
much more...

June 10: Mosaic block party in downtown Minneapolis.
We commandeered the intersection of Hennepin and 8th st,
taking over with human easels, sidewalk portraits, a community
mural, drum jam, van painting, and family portraits.
Friday,
June 9: 12th annual Gloria Dei Gathering and the opening
for Faith on Board, a skateboard art show. Open mic, Gloria
Dei/Faith on Board: Christian Skateboard Art show, and Holy
Rollas (skateboard/homeless ministry) benefit. This collaboration
between the Fallout and the Christian Artists Network will
feature 12 local artists' creations on skateboard decks.
The opening featured interactive art, as well as refreshments,
live music , and an open mic, performances by locals Everain,
Andre Rodriguez, and Colorado collective The Restoration

20: ARTISTS FOR AFRICA: sales of art benefiedt a medical
mission to Tanzania, Africa. Featured art by Judy Esse (abstracts/landscapes
in acrylic, watercolor, ink, mixed media), Joel Bartlett
(abstract oil painter), Scott Ludgin (color photography,
landscapes and abstract), Michael Nintemann (pastels and
paper mache) and more. The opening featured a puppet show
by Live Dog Puppet and Mask Theater, as well as live music
by When I Wake, Wannabehasbeens, and Bellvue Death Squad.

May 7: Mayday Parade! We marched in the parade- with
the mayor pulling our float no less- and hosted a spot at
the park with a community mural, drum jams, free painting,
and other fun things.

Swap/Craft Fair:
in honor of Earth Day, we swapped stuff and bought and sold
old and handcrafted goods. Also people came to work on bikes
and learn how to do a spring tune-up.
